We have a limited experience for virtual POPL attendees. The live streams for the talks can be accessed on Airmeet. If you have not used Airmeet please make yourself familiar with the features that the platform offers.
You will receive an email from Airmeet a few days before the conference. The Airmeet email contains the unique link that will let you enter the POPL’23 event to watch the live streams. If you have not received an email from Airmeet by Saturday 14th Jan, please email neringa@buildstuff.events and apoorv-ingle@uiowa.edu with your registration details. Please also make sure to check your spam folders.
Please note that you may not receive the Airmeet invite instantaneously after you register for the event because it is a manual process.
Airmeet has capabilities that allows you to:
- Watch the live streams by accessing the sessions;
- watch recorded sessions;
- ask text questions via the Q&A chat box during the talk session located on the right side of the screen;
- and a lounge (a break out room) for meeting other virtual participants
The recorded talks will also be published on the SIGPLAN Youtube channel after the conference.
